Scope of work:
The Archer Waste Management Facility is a waste transfer station that provides resource recovery and waste disposal for the residents of
Palmerston. Visitation numbers range from 350 vehicles per day on a weekday to 700 vehicles per day on a weekend. On average, 50 tonnes of
general waste and 20 tonnes of recyclable waste is transferred from this site weekly. The facility was upgraded due to aging infrastructure,
site safety requirements, and the need to accommodate projected population increases. The upgrades included new recycling facilities, new
general waste push pit, revised road layout and shelters.
