Building Information Modelling Consulting.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the process of integrating data using various technologies and information technology platforms in order to collaboratively plan, design and construct (or renew) an asset through better information flow so that the right person can access the right information at the right time.
A digitally engineered 3D model of an asset is stored on a common data environment (CDE) and used to host all information within, which is used to plan, design, construct, and commission an asset. And it is the process used to drive information from within these models where the real benefits to both the client and stakeholders in the supply chain lies.
For instance, asset managers can integrate or export information into specified asset management systems to help lower the costs incurred during the asset management phase as it is during this phase where the majority of asset costs occur. As such, when it comes to projects – in particular transport and civil projects – there is a short-term focus on planning, design & construction, and a long-term focus on asset management to derive maximum benefits from BIM.
The Byrne team takes a collaborative approach to producing an integrated service model and this extends to an intimate knowledge and understanding of BIM and its application throughout the project phases. Our BIM consulting team provides a multidisciplinary service that cover the implementation and delivery of BIM and our team is buildingSMART and OperamAcademy ISO19650 certified BIM professionals.
Our team of accredited BIM professionals provide capability in managing, creating, and delivering BIM models across a wide range of civil and transportation projects. The Byrne Consultants team consists of information related disciplines such as Data Capture, Design Technologies, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and BIM.
